Dynamic lacing systems distribute pressure evenly along the foot
Originally launched in 1972 for the Munich Olympics, the SL72 PT was a favourite amongst runners for both training and race use. It's about as close to the original as you'll get with the PT standing for prototype. In a 1975 article, market research found over 16% of people surveyed were running in the model. Given the modern day maximalist running shoes it's wild to consider this is the shoe people were throwing on for a run in the '70s.
